Privacy policy
Effective October 13, 2026
This policy covers Toonwild version 0.30.0 and this support website. Toonwild is published by Luke Turner. Contact lptgators@gmail.com with privacy questions.
Local game data
Characters, names, appearance, inventory, quests, home customization and settings are saved on your device. The game does not require an online account. This release does not send these saves to a publisher-operated server.
Nearby co-op
If you create or join a private same-Wi-Fi room, your device shares information needed to play together with other room participants. This includes your in-game character name and appearance, movement, preset chat, eligible quest contributions and shared adventure state. The host coordinates the room. Choose a character name that does not reveal personal information. Public online districts, internet matchmaking and voice chat are not included.
Character transfers
The optional transfer feature sends a selected character's saved progress between nearby devices after approval in the game. Transfer data is protected with encryption. Local Network permission enables nearby rooms and these transfers; the permission is not a request to access your contacts, photos or precise location.
Advertising and analytics
This release does not include advertising or tracking. Unity cloud analytics, cloud diagnostics and internet multiplayer services are not enabled. The game does not collect an email address or ask you to create an account for play. Apple may handle app distribution, device backups and optional platform diagnostics under your device settings and Apple's own privacy policy.
Support requests
If you email support, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and investigate the reported issue. Do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. You can contact the same address to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any applicable recordkeeping obligations.
This website
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. We have not added advertising, tracking pixels or analytics scripts. GitHub may process technical information, including IP addresses, to operate and secure its hosting service. See GitHub's privacy statement. Email is handled through the relevant email providers.
Your choices and younger players
You can play solo without Local Network permission, leave a co-op room, and decline a character transfer. Deleting the app may remove local saves; back up or transfer characters you want to keep first. We do not ask players for their age, real name, phone number or location. A parent or guardian can contact support about a child's information.
Changes
We will update this policy if a future release changes how information is handled. The effective date above identifies this version.
